Closing date extended to register for the 11th FIFO
Following a meeting with the AFIFO team, the festival organisers have decided to extend the registration date until 15th October instead of 1st October as initially stated. This year registration has indeed been disrupted as the offices of the association have moved in order to enable project owners to submit their applications in optimum conditions.
Documentaries between 15 minutes to 90 minutes long can thus be submitted or sent to the FIFO Association office until this new date. It is possible to register online or by post, date as per postmark.
We reiterate that documentaries presented must cover Oceania, but any issue may be addressed. Registration is free, and subtitling is requested but not mandatory.
The pre-selection committee has already begun to meet to prepare the selection for the 11th FIFO. As in previous years, a top prize, three special prizes and the public prize will award the documentaries selected. An international jury comprising audio-visual and cultural professionals will award the prizes during the 11th FIFO, which will take place from 3rd to 9th February at the Maison de la Culture.
