Two Polynesian islands in the South Pacific, Wallis and Futuna, are plots of French territory that are still traditional and colourful in a Pacific style. Very reticent on the telephone and radio front until the 2000s, they are still untouched by mobile telephones. Radio and television have gradually made them less isolated. Antonio, a Futunian journalist, recalls this evolution.
