Les amoureux du lagon
52 minutes, New Caledonia, 2014
Directed by Christophe Castagne
Produced by Grand Angle Productions & Archipel Production
New Caledonia is undoubtedly home to the planet’s most beautiful shores. Its lagoon was declared a UNESCO site in 2008 so that its amazing coral and threatened species, like the great white sharks, are safeguarded. This natural environment is unrivalled worldwide, but extremely vulnerable. The film, between heaven and earth, highlights the work to raise awareness and for preservation implemented by island communities to conserve this natural treasure.
