Résumé : This is the moving story of José, who was taken from his country in 1979 at the age of 9 following the occupation of East Timor by the Indonesians. 35 years later, he has become Abdul, is married and the father of Indonesian children. For his Timorese family he is dead and buried. Returning as an un-dead to visit his homeland, José-Abdul is confronted with his memories and must rebuild his life.
