7th December 1941, the American fleet is destroyed at Pearl Harbour by the Japanese Air Force. The USA enters the war. They decide to build defence bases to protect themselves from a possible invasion of the Pacific. 4,000 American soldiers are dispatched to Bora Bora in Polynesia. A period which marked the island forever. In a sort of aging open-air museum, the remains of this presence prove its importance. As well as the testimonies of the descendants they left there. Memories of a past that is still present.
