Résumé

Marquesas Islands. Vohi, originally from Ua Huka, where 1,500 horses still live in freedom, breeds horses in Hiva Oa, where cars have gradually replaced horses. He has chosen to pass on the Marquesan equestrian tradition. As he does for his son, he teaches it to Poko, a youngster who is finishing agricultural high school. This is a fine lesson in horsemanship through experience, the transmission of a way of life and a passion. All this in the Marquesan way, with a backdrop of superb landscapes.
