FIFO 2026

Volunteer FIFO

Becoming a Volunteer

Becoming a volunteer at FIFO means immersing yourself in the heart of a major cultural and oceanic event, sharing unique moments with enthusiasts of cinema and Oceanic cultures, and helping to make this must-attend festival in the Pays visible to the world. Behind the scenes and in contact with the public, you are fully involved in this great human and cultural adventure.

Volunteers are usually mobilized for a week, at the beginning of February, during the festival period. As a volunteer, you receive a T-shirt with the colors of FIFO and, throughout the festival week (Monday to Friday), free access to the screenings. For full days, lunch is provided. But most importantly, you leave with strong memories, enriching encounters, and the pride of having contributed to an exceptional event.

Your missions

Depending on your availability and your preferences, you may be asked to:

  • Participate in the follow-up of the workshops (lists of participants to be updated, checks of the workshop rooms).
  • Coordinate school groups (accommodating students according to a specific schedule and placing them in groups in designated rooms according to a plan established in advance).
  • Being available to festivalgoers and the public seeking information.
  • Being versatile, dynamic, and of good composition to strengthen, if necessary, the other teams of the festival.

Join the great family of FIFO!
