Since its first edition in 2004, the International Oceanic Documentary Film Festival, the FIFO, has established itself as the must-attend event for Oceanic documentary filmmaking. The only festival in the region to bring together both French and English-speaking professionals, it showcases and reveals the richness and diversity of the countries and peoples of the Oceanic region. Over the past 20 years, the FIFO has welcomed figures from the audiovisual and cultural industries from the Oceanic region, as well as from Europe and North America.
Born from the noble ambition of making Oceania visible, FIFO is driven first and foremost by the thirst for sharing and discovery that animates the audiovisual professionals of the region. This podcast aims to reflect the richness of the festival’s encounters. Each month we will discuss audiovisual issues, but also Oceania and its challenges. In keeping with the festival, this podcast will be available in French, English and even Tahitian.
The FIFO is a journey; this podcast continues the encounter.
