An estimated 40% of the homeless people in France are women. They are more vulnerable and are often easy prey. In fact, they hide to the point of making themselves invisible just to protect themselves. Claire Lajeunie made them visible by offering through her documentary and her book the portrait of these touching and often funny women despite their dramatic life paths.

After the documentary and the book, the adventure continues in cinema with The Invisibles, the adaptation of the book On the road of the invisible, released in 2019.
