Description

Interviewer: Are Raimbault

Description: In the age of information and social networks, video reporting is at the heart of current affairs and allows for a better understanding of certain events and societal facts. This is not always an easy exercise because while the reporter’s pen and eye must be sharp, they must also work in harmony. As a reporter and an audiovisual technician, Are vous will introduce you to the basics of writing and producing this particular genre. He or she who has produced numerous reports for the TVNZ channel will give you the basic tools to “tell an original and interesting story”.

During this workshop, you will have to find a theme, study it and dissect it to derive an original angle. Once the subject is framed, you will put yourself in the reporter’s shoes and set out into the field. Using your smartphone or tablet, you will go on a hunt for the essential images and interviews to bring your subject to the spotlight.
