The New Hebrides, a Franco-British colony, became Vanuatu in 1980. After 140 years of colonisation and evangelisation, it’s a country in search of its culture. Father Rodet, a missionary in the country since 1960, has made his choice: this Marist brother helps his flock to find places linked to their culture, ancestor worship and spirit houses.
