
For centuries, the Pacific was one connected family until 1831, when Western maps sliced it into “Melanesia,” “Polynesia,” and “Micronesia.” Directed by Ratu Felix Colatanavanua, this documentary investigates the origin of these artificial divides and exposes how this colonial hangover continues to fracture our politics, identity, and unity in the modern day.
